Se še spomnite tistega prečudovitega para modrozelenih visečih uhanov, ki sem jih kupila za 1€ in jih nato vsa ponosna razkazovala po blogu?

Mja, kmalu po nakupu je prišlo spoznanje, da mi viseči uhani niso preveč všeč, zato jih nisem nosila niti enkrat samkrat. Neumnost? Nedvomno. Zgrešen nakup? Ne, če le imaš par klešč za žico in malce domišljije.

Mja, kmalu po nakupu je prišlo spoznanje, da mi viseči uhani niso preveč všeč, zato jih nisem nosila niti enkrat samkrat. Neumnost? Nedvomno. Zgrešen nakup? Ne, če le imaš par klešč za žico in malce domišljije.
Je še kaj boljšega kot par lepih uhanov za 1€? Mogoče komplet uhanov, verižice in prstana za 1€? Vsak uhan je bil sestavljen iz dveh kamenčkov, manjšega in večjega, ter kaveljčka. Večja kamenčka sem odstranila s kleščami za žico, nato pa na obeh manjših in enem večjem odščipnila obroček, tisto, na kar je bil pritrjen kavelj ali še en kamenček. Na manjša sem nato na hrbtno stran nalepila navadni bazi za uhane, na enega izmed večjih sem prilepila osnovo za prstan, drugega pa uporabila kot obesek na verižici. Bjutiful!
Pa še čudovito paše zraven mojega novega kvačkanega traku in oblekice za termovko.
Tale verižica nekako ni bila najboljša možna varianta, saj me kar naprej cuka in mi puli lase, zato jo bom v prihodnje zamenjala z navadno.
Zdaj bom lahko za kakšne posebne priložnosti namesto zgolj uhanov nosila kar cel komplet čudovitega in expensive looking nakita.

In the beginning of this year I bought myself this gorgeous pair of earrings, seen on the photo above. I had been aching to have them for so long, but I didn't have any money. When I saw that they were on clearance, I grabbed them and took them home (but not before jumping up and down a few times out of sheer joy). Soon after I finally had them, I realized that they don't fit any of the clothes I have and that they are simply too long for the shape of my face. But because I am a crafter I don't just give up that easily and so I knew that somehow they had to be made into something more wearable.
I took the earrings apart and used the smaller stones for earrings. I simply glued an ordinary earring post to the back and that was it. One of the larger stones I glued onto a ring base and in so doing made a ring, and the other was put on a chain to make a necklace. Although I will have to replace the chain with an ordinary one, because this one keeps getting stuck in my hair and pulling on it.
My new jewelry set looks absolutely gorgeous next to my new winter headband and coffee cup cozy.
I now have a gorgeous and rather expensive looking set of jewelry to wear on special occasions :)
